  • Good morning and welcome to another week of e-Learning! I enjoyed speaking to many of your parents (and you guys too) on the phone last week! It's so great seeing your faces on Meet and keeping in touch. During Learning Lab last week, we had a live round of Kahoot going. We have scheduled times this Friday as well, don't miss out! I will post the links on my site by Friday. I will also send reminders on your Class Pages and Google Classroom.I wiil ing more of you this week on the phone. Don't forget to check in with your class's Google Meets, and complete class assignments!  I try to attend as many class Meets as I can, use those as an opportunity for help and a way to stay connected to teachers and friends.

Don't forget, I am always an email away. If you have any questions, or just want to say hello, reach out anytime. I AM HERE TO HELP!! shernandez01@mcas.k12.in.us

REMINDER: This is not extra work you have to do. The videos and extra practice are to provide support for the assignments you are completing for your classroom. I understand some assignments are difficult, just try your best and turn in work each day. Use the supports provided on your class page, along with your Snap&Read, Google Mic, multiplication chart, hundreds chart, etc. to help you.

ALSO: Khan and iReady can count toward your daily participation grade! It is optional, but if you are struggling with a Classroom assignment, but complete Khan practice...that counts. We can ALL do something! Don't forget to check back Friday (it will be a seperate page) for our Learning Lab Meet links! This is a time to ask questions and see familiar faces (including mine).

    SPEECH and LANGUAGE

If your child receives speech and/or language therapy (Message from Kelly Varone, speech pathologist):

Week 2 is posted under the Google Drive “Week 2” Folder. I have given public access so all parents can easily access therapy activities! I also wanted to let you know that I have reached out to student’s parents individually to offer teletherapy as they are home on extended e-learning during this time. Please feel free to add my email address to your classroom pages so that parents can email me if they are interested in therapy from home!

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! I am available via email all day!
