Hello! My name is Mrs. Althoff and I am a Student Support Teacher here at Knapp School. I live in Michigan City. I am married and have 3 grown children. We also have an adorable little dog, Zoey!
I have taught with MCAS for about 20 years. I have also taught at Springfield and Edgewood Schools over the years! I love being a teacher and working with children and their families. Learning and education improve our lives and our world!!!

Mrs. Connie AlthoffI have enjoyed teaching in the Michigan City Area Schools for the past fifteen years! I have had the opportunity to teach at Krueger, Springfield, Edgewood, and here at Knapp. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work in 1979 from Illinois State University. I was married in 1980 and moved to the Chicago area. After having the opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom for 14 years, I enrolled at Indiana University in South Bend and earned my Masters Degree in Special Education. I enjoy working with young children and feel fortunate to be a part of the Michigan City Area School staff.
