    Today’s date is Monday, March 30, 2020.  Below you will find your assignments for the day!

    I can read kindergarten sight words.

    I can identify beginning, middle and ending sounds in words.

    I can answer questions about a story.

    Steps of the Lesson:

    1. Listen to and learn this weeks sight words here.

    2. Watch these videos and use your notebook to write you anwers in.

    To Turn In:

    1. The word lists you wrote from video's 1, 2, 3, and 4. 

    2. Complete the "Exit Ticket" using the link at the top or bottom of this page.  Either link will take you to the form. (answers will be sent to me automatically)

     I can use information from a book to write sentences that inform others, using letter sounds and sight words.

    I can draw a picture to illustrate my topic.

    I can practice spacing my words and using punctuation in my sentences.

    Steps of the Lesson:Choose one of the following pets:  cats or dogs

    1. Click on this link, enter class code:bes9866, and click on your name, close the pop up and go to "mailbox."
    2. Read the book about the animal you chose. Then, using your notebook or our draw and write paper, write at least 2 facts you learned about taking care of that animal. Make sure you are using facts that were from the book.  You can also draw a picture of that animal. (Parents-you may help students sound out their words, but please don’t tell them how to spell everything.) Make sure to practice spacing your words and use punctuation at the end of your sentences. 

    To Turn In:

    1.  At least a 2-sentence writing piece with an illustration.


     I can statements:

     I can count to at least 100 by ones and tens and count on by one from any number.

      1. From your Math Instruction Book, (the colorful pages) get our pages 139-142.

      2. Watch this video.

      3.Complete pages 139-142 with Mrs. McCrovitz

      1. Math workbook pages pg. 139-142 from the math INSTRUCTION BOOK.

    Hi Knapp Knights! It is Mrs. Mullenhour, your School Counselor, and I wanted to make sure that we stay in touch during the Extended break from Knapp.
