• Music Class Procedures

    Music students are expected to sing, move, play instruments, and listen to music. The Indiana state standards for each grade level are posted in the music room. Each class is divided into small groups. Each group works as a team to "Keep the Zero" for each class. Six zeroes in a row will earn the group a small reward. Points are given for misbehavior. A time out in the music room follows the ice hockey penalty box system. We have a two minute time out, four minute time out, five minute major time out, and the ten minute major resulting in a visit to the principal's office. After the time out is served the student may return to the classroom activity.
