E-Learning Day: Wednesday, March 25, 2020

  • Happy Wednesday! You guys are doing an awesome job, keep up the super work. Make sure you watch all the assigned videos and then complete all the assignments list here.  You complete these assignments through Google Classroom.  If you have any questions, make sure to write a comment on the assignments on Google Classroom. You can also contact me though Class Dojo or email me at jrussell@mcas.k12.in.us  Remember to turn in all your work today!

    Greeting

    I can ... check in with Mr. Russell to let him know how I am doing today.

    Steps of the Lesson:

    1. Go to our Google Classroom page.

    2. Watch the "Morning Video" that is posted. 

    3. Complete the Google Form titled: eLearning 3/25/2020 - Greeting

     

    Work to be turned in: Completed Google Form (5 minutes)

    Reading

    I can... explain cause and effect relationships.

    Steps of the Lesson:

    1. Go to our Google Classroom page.

    2. Watch Mr. Russell's reading video.  If the video will not load, you can still complete the assignment.

    3. Complete the Edulastic eLearning 3/25/2020 Reading Assignment on comparing texts. Remember to sign in with Google.

    Work to be turned in: Turn in assignment though Edulastic (20-30 minutes).

     

    Read 2 Self

    I can... read text at grade level to help improve my fluency, comprehension, and stamina.

    Steps of the Lesson:

    1. Grab your AR book or a book from home.

    2. Find a quiet place inside or outside to read.

    3. Read for 20 minutes.

     

    Work to be turned in: Let Mr. Russell know when you finish a book. (20 minutes)

      

    Math

    I can... classify a quadrilateral based on it attributes.

    Steps of the Lesson:

    1.  Go to our Google Classroom page. 

    2.  Watch Mr. Russell's math video.

    3.  After watching the video, complete the math assignment on Edulastica titled:  eLearning 3/25/2020 - Math Assignment

    Work to be turned in: Submit work on Edulastic (30-40 minutes)

     

    Writing

    I can... write an research paper on a given topic while using correct word choice, punctuation and capitalization.

    Steps of the Lesson:

    1.  Go to our Google Classroom page. 

    2.  Watch Mr. Russell's writing video.

    3.  After watching the video, open the Google Slide titled: eLearning 3/25/2020 - Here you will be using the links given to research your Country. 

     

    Work to be turned in: Research Google Slide (30 minutes)
