• These are all the 71 Kindergarten sight words that we have introduced this year.  Please continue to practice reading/writing the words attached. They are so important and vital to be able to read and write.   Make going over these sight words a part of their nightly homework.  The more practice that the students have the better they can become in reading. Some ways to practice sight words other than just read them is to:

    • Rainbow write them on paper
    •  This is when you first write the word and then you go over the word several times with different colored crayons
    •   Arrange them into a sentence then write that sentence on a piece of paper.
    •   Make two copies of each paper and then play memory.
    •   Build sight words out of playdough.

Simple things like that will go a long way!  Here’s to a great rest of the year!

    Sincerely,

    Mrs. Hughes
