eLearning Day 4/1/2020
Virtual Learning Wednesday, April 1, 2020
Hello, my Second Grade friends! I am so proud of the way you are keeping up with assignments. It’s a good idea to have a schedule: Wake up, eat a healthy breakfast, do some stretching, and get busy with your lessons for the day. Once you’re finished you are free for the day! Remember to stay home, stay safe, but do try to get outside and enjoy a few minutes of fresh air.
I miss you a TON! Only a few more days and you’re off for a week of Spring break. :)
Watch this video from Mrs. Smith!
2.RL.2.4 Make predictions about the content of text using prior knowledge of text features, explaining whether or not they were confirmed and why.
2.RV.1 Use words, phrases, and strategies acquired through conversations, reading and being read to, and responding to literature and nonfiction texts to build and apply vocabulary.
Enjoy this read aloud and my important reminders. What a great book!
2.W.6.2c Demonstrate command of English grammar and usage, focusing on correctly spelling common irregularly-spelled, grade-appropriate high-frequency words.
Watch this video. Then complete the assignment.
2.DA.1 Draw a picture graph (with single-unit scale) and a bar graph (with single-unit scale) to represent a data set with up to four choices. Solve simple put-together, take-apart, and compare problems using information presented in the graphs.
Today’s math lesson is in 2 parts. Be sure to watch both.
Today you have Art.
