E-Learning Day - January 31, 2020

E-Learning - January 31, 2020

  • I can...compare and contrast cellular respiration and photosynthesis and describe each process.  I can also explain ATP and how it works in a cell.

    Steps of the Lesson

    1. Go to Google Classroom.  Use the link for your class period below.

      -----Period 7

    2. Click on the E-Learning Assignment entitled: "E-Learning Assignment - January 31, 2020".

    3. Please take the attached open book/notes/internet assessment over Cellular Energy.  Be sure to finish the assessment and try all the questions.  Partial credit can be given for open ended questions, so please try each one.

Work to be turned in:  Submitted Google Form for the Cellular Energy Assessment.

    Human Anatomy and Physiology

I can...identify the role of creatine phosphate, aerobic cellular respiration, and anaerobic cellular respiration in muscle metabolism.  I can also describe the physiological changes in muscle cells when they experience fatigue.

    Steps of the Lesson:

    1.  Go to Google Classroom.  Use the link for your class period below.

    -----Period 1

    -----Period 3

    -----Period 8

    2.  Click on the E-Learning Assignment entitled: "E-Learning Assignment - January 31, 2020".

    3. Please follow the YouTube link to watch the video on Muscle Metabolism. While you are watching it, please answer the questions in the attached assignment over the video.

Work to be turned in:  Submit answers to the questions that accompany the Muscle Metabolism Video through Google Classroom.

    AP Biology

I can...explain the purpose of cellular respiration and describe the process including all the steps of the process in both the aerobic and anaerobic pathways.

    Steps of the Lesson:

    1.  Go to Google Classroom.  Use the links for your class period below.

    -----Period 4

    -----Period 6

    2.  Click on the E-Learning Assignment entitled: E-learning Assignment - January 31, 2020.

    3. As you are studying for the test over cellular respiration, post at least one question you still have over the material on the assignment on Google Classroom.  You must then answer or comment on at least two other questions.  I may add some questions as well for discussion.  Note the test will now be on Tuesday.

Work to be turned in:  1 question about the material posted on the assignment on Google Classroom as a comment.  You then must reply to at least two other questions.
