    8.RN.2.1  Cite the textual evidence that most strongly supports an analysis of what a text says explicitly as well as inferences drawn from the text

    8.RN.2.2  Analyze the development of a central idea over the course of a text, including it's relationship to supporting ideas; provide a detailed, objective summary of the text



    Students will find the definition of a word, in context, for their bell ringer.

    Students will read an article and analyze the central idea of the text and use evidence to answer questions.

    Students will write their answer to an exit ticket on Google Classroom assignment using critical thinking skills


    Today, you will:

    Do the bellringer week 13, "Tuesday" assignment on Google Classroom, "Tuesday Bellringer".

    Read the Commonlit assignment "The Women of Hidden Figures" and answer questions.

    Do the exit ticket for 11/12/2019 - writing complete sentences!

    Remember to pass one iReady lesson for this week!

    Read silently for 30 minutes.
