    Reading

     I can... read and comprehend a grade level nonfiction text. 

    I can... understand, describe the difference between fact and opinion.

     

    Steps of the lesson:

    1. Log into E-Learning Google Classroom. You will need to sign in with your Google Account (username@mcas.k12.in.us).

    2. Click on Classwork.

    3. Look under the READING TAB for assignment: READING: Dec. 9, 2019- READWORKS: FROM PET TO THREAT

    4. Follow the directions for the assignment. (Sign-in with Google).

    5. Submit when finished.

    Work to be turned in:

    Submitted assignment through Read Works.

    Writing

     I can... construct an opinion essay supporting my stance on a topic.

     

    Steps of the lesson:

    1.  Log into E-Learning Google Classroom. You will need to sign in with your Google Account (username@mcas.k12.in.us).

    2. Click on Classwork.

    3. Look under the WRITING TAB for assignment: WRITING: Dec. 9, 2019

    4. Follow the directions on the Google Doc.

    5. Please click TURN IN when finished!

    Work to be turned in:

    Opinion Essay (4-6 sentences) via Google Classroom.

    Math

    I can... : Compare two fractions with different numerators and different denominators (e.g., by creating common denominators or numerators, or by comparing to a benchmark, such as 0, 1/2, and 1)

    Steps of the lesson:

    1.  Log into E-Learning Google Classroom. You will need to sign in with your Google Account (username@mcas.k12.in.us).

    2. Click on Classwork.

    3. Look under the MATH TAB for assignment: MATH: DEC. 9, 2019

    4. Answer each question on the Google Form.

    5. Please click SUBMIT when finished!

     Work to be turned in:

    Answers to the worksheet, on a sheet of paper, turned into the teacher on Tuesday, December 10th.
