Honors and Core Geometry  (Algebra 2 is below)

I can describe the results of a transformation on points and some geometric figures

G.TR.1: Use geometric descriptions of rigid motions to transform figures and to predict and describe the results of translations, reflections and rotations on a given figure. Describe a motion or series of motions that will show two shapes are congruent.

    1. Watch the video for rotating shapes to review last weeks material.
    2. Do the assignment/exercise again if you haven’t achieved a passing score.
    3. Take the Transformations: Quiz 2.
    4. Preview Reflecting Points.

All assignments will be automatically turned in through Khan Academy and will show up as “completed” or with a score next to it in your assignments list.

    Algebra 2

AII.CNE.4: Rewrite algebraic rational expressions in equivalent forms (e.g., using laws of exponents and factoring techniques).

I can...Multiply polynomials with varying degrees and recognize expressions that are special cases: Difference of squares and Perfect Squares.

    1. Watch the videos on Polynomial Difference of Squares and Polynomial Perfect Squares
    2. Complete the Difference of Squares assignment and the Perfect Squares assignment.
    3. Take Polynomials: Quiz 3.

All assignments will be automatically turned in through Khan Academy and will show up as “completed” or with a score next to it in your assignments list.
