Hello, my name is Tim Blakeney. This is my first year at Michigan City High School and am happy to be here. Before the high school I was at Barker Middle School for three years. Prior to MCAS I taught in Michigan for 30 years. Over the span of my career I have taught nearly all grade levels. High School students have always been my favorite students to teach. Presently I teach Math, English Language, Social Studies, and Science in Student Support Services.

I earned my Bachelor degree at Eastern Michigan University in Special Education. Later I earned my Masters degree in Curriculum Developement.

As an educator I strive to challenge students to reach potentials that they do not think are possible.
