• Student E-Learning assignments will be posted HERE by 9am on any E-Learning day. Students will have 3 days to complete and turn in these assignments. In addition to being graded on the assignments, completion will also count as attendance for that specific day. 



    Middle School Restoration

    These assignments are posted in Google Classroom (https://classroom.google.com). Have your students log in using their school chromebook emails. 



    Lesson Description: Read the grade appropriate passages found on Google Classroom Reading. Answer the comprehension questions on a separate sheet of paper or Google Doc. 

    Steps of the Lesson:

    1. Open the assignment in google classroom (Reading Worksheets 2)

    2. Read the comprehension questions at the end so you know what to be looking for in the passage. 

    3. Read the passage. 

    4. On a lined sheet of paper or Google Doc, answer the comprehension questions (you may also print the assignment and answer the questions there). Make sure you number these!

    Work to be turned in: Completed comprehension questions.  



    Lesson Description: Watch today's episode of CNN10 (https://www.cnn.com/cnn10). List five facts from the segment in complete sentences. Reminder: For this assignment, a fact is a true piece of information gathered from watching the news segment.

    Steps of the Lesson:

    1. Open the assignment in google classroom. 
    2. Follow the link to the CNN10 segment. 
    3. Click on the right side of the google assignment to start typing your facts.  
    4. Number your facts 1-5 and enter them as complete sentences. 
    5. Click submit in google classroom.

    Work to be turned in: Submit your five facts in google classroom.  



    Lesson Description: Practice adding money! This should be a review for everybody, but if you need a refresher, view the youtube video linked in the lesson on Google Classroom Math. 

    Steps of the Lesson:

    1. Open the assignment in google classroom.
    2. Review the link if you need a refresher. 
    3. Either print the assignement or copy the problems onto a separate sheet of lined paper.  
    4. Solve the problems without a calculator (unless your IEP states otherwise). SHOW YOUR WORK. 
    5. Check your work. 

    Work to be turned in: 25 problems and your work leading to them.

    Middle School & Elementary Homebound 



    Read a book about food of your choosing on Epic! This must be accessed during traditional class hours (8am-3pm). Use a book that is appropriate for your grade level. Submit five facts about the book you read in google classrooms. 

    Steps of the Lesson:

    1. Go to https://www.getepic.com/ 

    2. Enter our class code (lxe3283)

    3. Type "food" into the search bar.  

    4. Click "Reading Level" then "Grade" and check next to your grade level. 

    5. Read the book. 

    6. On a lined sheet of paper, write 5 facts about the book you chose. 

    Work to be turned in: 5 Facts on a lined sheet of paper. Turn this in when you attend Friday. 



    Lesson Description: Play Prodigy Math for at least 30 minutes. During this time, you need to complete at least 25 problems. 

    Steps of the Lesson:

    1. Go to https://play.prodigygame.com/

    2. Enter your login and password. 

    3. Play!
