    Economics

    I can…examine the theory that some teenage girls get pregnant for financial gain and provide my opinion on this topic.

    Lesson Description

    Steps of the Lesson:

    1. Log into Economics Google Classroom and read the article titled “Teen Motherhood; For Some It Does Pay Off
    2. Create a google doc and in the document title box, rename it by typing your initials, the date, and Econ. 
    3. At the top right hand side of the google doc type the heading (name, date, Economics, ELearning Assignment).  
    4. Explain if you agree or disagree with the article and why you agree or disagree with the article. Your document must contain at least 2 paragraphs. 
    5. Submit the document to me at labbey@mcas.k12.in.us through Economics Google Classroom.

    Work to be turned in: Submit your response to the article in a google document through Economics Google Classroom.

     

    English

    I can...use the correct punctuation in both reading and writing. 

    Lesson Description

    Steps of the Lesson:

    1. Review and read through the worksheet "Circle It! Correct Punctuation" which is posted in English Google Classroom
    2. Find the punctuation errors in each sentence and highlight them. 
    3. Circle the number of the sentences that have the correct punctuation. 
    4. Create a google doc, title it, and put a heading on it.  Then, write 10 sentences using CORRECT punctuation.

    Work to be turned in: Submit the "Circle It! Correct Punctuation" worksheet and sentences in Google Classroom.

     

    Physical Science

    I can...locate elements in the Periodic Table and identify the name, atomic number, the symbol, and the avg mass (atomic mass) of an element.

    Lesson Description

    Steps of the Lesson:

    1. Review the Periodic Table of Elements which is posted in Physical Science Google Classroom.  You will choose 12 elements for this assignment.
    2. Remain in PS Google Classroom and create a new google doc.  In the document title box, type your initials, the date, and PS.  At the top right hand side of the google doc type the heading (name, date, PS, ELearning Assignment).  
    3. Create your own Period Table by drawing a square for each of the 12 elements that you selected along with the element symbol, the element name, the atomic number, and the avg mass (atomic mass).

    Work to be turned in: Submit your completed document in Google Classroom.  

     

    Earth Science

    I can...identify properties of minerals and describe the features of these properties.

    Lesson Description

    Steps of the Lesson:

    1. Read and review the Minerals article which is posted as a google document in Earth Science Google Classroom.  
    2. Answer the questions following the article.  If you are unable to type the answers in the google doc, create and title a new google doc and type your answer in the document.  In the document title box, type your initials, the date, and ES.  At the top right hand side of the google doc type the heading (name, date, ES, ELearning Assignment).  

    Work to be turned in: Submit your completed document in Google Classroom.  

           

     US History

    I can...identify significant events and people involved in and affected by World War II.  

    Lesson Description

    Steps of the Lesson:

    1. Read and review the WWII article which is posted as a google document in US History Google Classroom.  
    2. Complete the worksheet following the article.  If you are unable to type the answers in the google doc, create and title a new google doc and type your answer in the document.  In the document title box, type your initials, the date, and USH.  At the top right hand side of the google doc type the heading (name, date, USH, ELearning Assignment).  

    Work to be turned in: Submit your completed document in Google Classroom.  

     

    PLATO

    I can...work, online, independently to complete modules and mastery tests in both core and elective courses.

    Lesson Description

    Steps of the Lesson:

    1.     Log into each of your PLATO courses and complete one mastery test in each course.
    2. Send me an email immediately after you complete EACH test.  You may send the email to: labbey@mcas.k12.in.us.
