Today, we are going to watch a short 8 min clip of the movie The Money Pit and find 20 safety hazards.  As we all know, safety needs to be the number 1 priority when working with tools and machines.

Good Morning!

I hope everyone had a great weekend!  As we enter the last week of school, I wanted to say thank you for all of your hard work during this pandemic.  We finished the last safety test last week, so this week will allow you to catch up on missing work, or retaking quizzes and assignments for better grades.  I received a lot of emails on Friday and over the weekend for past due assignments and will have everything updated in RDS by this afternoon.

We have 2 weeks left and 2 modules left with Ivy Tech.  We will continue to follow the same format that we have over the past few weeks with the pre-quiz on Monday's, lauch the learning materials on Tuesday's and take the quizzes on Wednesday's.  If you want, you can work ahead and send me the results of the 2 quizzes once you are happy with the scores.  Today, we will start working on the Ivy Tech A15 Control Charts pre-quiz.  The final module will be A15 Continuous Improvement 1.

This week we will learn about the wood lathe.  The lathe will allow you to take a square piece of wood and make it round.  People make table and chair legs out of the lathe.  Please watch the following video and tomorrow we will take the safety test on it.
