    English

I can...develop characters, establish and develop relationships, and develop a theme in a fictional story.

    Lesson Description

    Steps of the Lesson:

    1. Adding to your assignment from yesterday, I want to know what happens next in your story. Your hero has been introduced to the world.  Now I want to know who helps or harms him, her, or it.  Where does the hero go?  Does the hero find a place to hide?  Does anyone help?  What does the hero need?  Do they know our language?  Using your imagination, create a story answering these questions and tell me how things go for the first day or so of the superhero’s visit.  Again, use power verbs and lots of words that help me picture the hero in my mind.  I also want you to start thinking about a picture of your hero.  I am going to want to see what he, she, or it looks like soon.  Have fun with this.
    2. Open English google classroom and create a new document. Remember to go to the document title box, rename it by typing your initials, the date, and English and to go to the top right hand side of the google doc and type the heading (name, date, English, ELearning Assignment).
    3. Write your story.
