    As a coder I can:

    1. Develop appropriate algorithms using pseudo-code (work in a simplified coding program such as Scratch or other such programs)

    1. Write code to implement algorithms (create coding projects)

    2. Test the code (run the program)
     
    Gr 7 ASSIGNMENT Due: 2-1-2018

    Good morning Coders!

    PLEASE DON'T FALL BEHIND IN YOUR ASSIGNMENTS

    A. first assignment for today will be for you to carry on a conversation with your classmates via a blogsite. Please copy and paste the link below into a new tab and enter.

    There are three articles that you may choose to blog about. Write your post in the Comment box. In order for you to get your full points, I need you to make a minumum of 8 posts and you can choose any combination of the three topics. Please do not post a two or three word response as part of your 8 required posts. In other words, you need to blog in complete sentences.  If you would like to just blog on one topic that will be just fine, but I am looking for a minumum of 8 posts from every student. Just carry on a conversation like you would normally do. You can also access Scratch from this website; just click on the http address.

    P.S. If you're the student who carries on the most conversation, you could get extra credit for this assignment!

    B. The second assignment is for you to screenshot ALL your elearning assignments and email them to me. The instructions are below.

    1.   To capture your entire screen, hit Ctrl + window switch key.
    2.   To send your screenshot, open your Gmail and click Compose. For to type gdavis01@mcas.k12.in.us
    3.   For Subject, Type Screenshots
    4.   Type a short note letting me know which assignments you are sending.
    5.   Click the attachment key below; it looks like a paperclip next to the A.
    6.  Click Pictures; find the files you want to send and click. If you are sending more than one, click the first file, then hold down the CTRL key and click the other files; click Open.
    7.   Wait for the files to populate.
    8.   Click send!
    9.   That's it!!! You're Done!!!

All of your Sprites will spell your name. Add a wintery backdrop and some cool music! (Screenshot and send to me when finished.)
