    I can...demonstrate the knowledge and skills to achieve and maintain a health-enhancing level of physical activity and fitness.

    Step One:  Warm up exercises.  Do Ten Jumping Jacks, Ten Sit Ups, Ten Arm Circles, Ten Push Ups, Run in Place for One Minute.

    Step Two: Take your pulse by using your pointer and middle fingers on your left hand.  Place them one in from the edge of your wrist.  The spot will be where your hand meets your arm.  Feel around until you feel your pulse.  If you are having trouble follow the directions in the link:   https://www.wikihow.com/Check-Your-Pulse

    Step Three:  Count how many times you feel your heart beat with your fingers for 15 seconds.

    Step Four:  Now multiply that number times four.  There are four fifteens in sixty seconds or one minute.

    Step Five:  Take your pulse again twenty minutes later and see what the difference is.

    Step Six:  Write both pulses down on a piece of paper along with your name, grade, teacher's name and date and turn it in to Mr. Lasky when you return to school.
