    After viewing the video and completing the assignment for reading respond to the following writing prompt:  Write a few sentences to let a friend know the best things about your neighborhood.  What kind of illustration would you include? Describe your illustration, and then draw it.

    After viewing and completing the assignment for reading respond to the following writing prompt: Imagine that this month you and a friend have been raising money for a local animal shelter.  Write a short email to the owner of the shelter to let her know the amount you have raised each week,  What kind of chart, graph, or other visual might yuo include to make your information clearer? Describe your visual, then draw it.

    Work to be turned in: Response to writing prompt written or typed in a Google doc(25  min.)
