    Hello! My name is Katelyn Lopez and I teach a separate class with students in grades K-2. I began at Joy after graduating college in 2015. Currently I am working towards a Masters degree in Special Education through Purdue Northwest, which I will complete in 2020. In my free time I like doing yoga, going to the movies, being outdoors, and spending time with my family. My husband and I have two kids, one dog, and live here in Michigan City. Go Wolves!

    I believe in using a predictable, structured routine in order to help my students thrive academically, as well as foster independence. I look forward to having a positive partnership with your student and family, so that together we can help our kiddos to grow and succeed!
