• Welcome to Ms. Lee's STEM page!
  • Meet the Teacher:
This is my 8th year in the formal education system and I am thrilled to be at such an amazing school. I graduated from Purdue in 2009 with a degree in Natural Sciences and Ecology which led me directly into my career choices since. Directly after graduating I taught non-formal environmental education at the Dunes Learning Center in Chesterton, Indiana for 1.5 years then moved on to teach genetics, technological innovations, and a bit of chemistry at The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, and then I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in a rural community of 136 people in the mountains of Panama developing and implementing sustainable projects in environmental conservation, agriculture, youth development, HIV/AIDS awareness, and NGO development.

Outside of work I am on the Michigan City Sustainablity Commission, a volunteer with a global peace organization, CISV, I'm a member of the Northwest Indiana Paddlers Association, and a Zumba Instructor at the Elston YMCA. I enjoy running, hiking, kayaking, camping, scuba diving, international travel, and playing volleyball.
