    Watch this video.  It will last about 15 minutes each.  Make sure you have a pencil and paper as you watch. Take notes and solve the problems.

    I can write a concise sixth grade paper on a writing prompt (choose 1 of 3).

    6.RL.2.1 Cite textual evidence to support analysis of what a text says explicitly as well as inferences drawn from the text.

    6.W.4 Apply the writing process to – ● Plan and develop; draft; revise using appropriate reference materials; rewrite; try a new approach; and edit to produce and strengthen writing that is clear and coherent, with some guidance and support from peers and adults. ● Use technology to interact and collaborate with others to generate, produce, and publish writing.

    1.  Finish your Choice (this was your homework last night, so you should already be done).  Revise and Edit your work with fresh eyes today.  Have someone (at home or trusted friend) read your essay and give you editing suggestions.  Do not allow anyone to have editing rights on your work, select view only and it will allow them to comment only.  Submit on Mrs. Munoz's ELA classroom by 5:00 today.

    2.  IReady Assignment on Reading Protocol.  Supporting Inferences (Literary)

    a.  Go to Clever.

    b.  Click on Reading.

    c.  Your Iready Teacher assigned lesson Evaluating Arguments will be there on the left hand side.

    d.  Complete the lesson.

    SCIENCE and SOCIAL STUDIES  Ms. Will Science

    I can.... Write informative text using appropriate reference materials and prior knowledge.

    I can...  Demonstrate use of technology to produce and publish writing.

    I can...  Distinguish between the terms force, gravity mass, weight, and acceleration showing the relationship.

    Procedures: 

    1.   Go to Mitchell/Munoz/Will/Lozano in google classroom and click on it.  Then click on "SCIENCE, eLearning Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020 Science Assignment #3" and complete the assignment.

    2.  You will make a copy of the attached activity page about Forces and Energy and answer the 12 questions.

    4.  Then "Submit" the assignment to Ms. Will using Science google classroom.  Do not "SHARE" the assignment.

     

    5.  THIS IS A HOMEWORK REMINDER FROM TUESDAY: HAVE THIS PREVIOUS CLASSROOM ASSIGNMENT FINISHED !!!  If you do not have your book at home, then of course you cannot do this.   This assignment is a reminder for those students who DON'T have it finished.

           * Review/Close Read Chapter 2 Lesson 1, Lesson 2, and Lesson 3 in your Forces and Energy Science book. (We've done most of this in class.) 

           * Make sure you have completed ALL the sidebar questions on ALL the pages.
