My name is Tabitha Hughes and I am the CNA Program Director and School Nurse. This is my eighth year at A.K. Smith. I am a graduate of Indiana University, South Bend receiving a bachelor's degree of science in nursing (BSN). I have worked as an RN, specializing mainly in pediatrics, for the past 12 years. I love sharing my experiences as a nurse with my students and hope to inspire a love of medicine in all of them!I live in Rolling Prairie with my husband and our two children, Kylee (age 17) and Ethan (age 10). We have two dogs, Charlie and Jasper. In my spare time, I enjoy playing softball, swimming, and camping. My favorite holiday is Christmas. I love everything about it, the decorations, buying gifts, time with family, and especially the snow!!:)
