  • Welcome to the 2014-2015 School Year!
    Joy students with Dr. Eason-Watkins
As I visited many of our buildings on the first day of school this year, it struck me how very proud I am of our students and staff. In just four years, I have seen amazing progress – ISTEP and Algebra scores are rising steadily, our career and technical offerings are expanding, the number of dual college credits our high schoolers are earning has tripled... I could go on and on.

This school year we are soaring to new heights! We will continue to focus on the instructional core and a commitment to preparing our students for success in college and careers. We also will continue popular program options for families – including elementary magnet schools in STEM and the Arts, services for gifted and talented students, themes at the middle school level and much more.

I invite you to return to our web site often, and I encourage all parents to use the Parent Access system (click the icon at the top of this page). This is an important tool that will help you track your child’s grades and attendance. I also encourage you to use the Staff Directory function to stay in close communication with your child’s school and teachers. Parents are important partners in the educational success of every child.
