Edgewood Lab Assistant

      Welcome to Edgewood Computer Lab and Technology

   Edgewood has current technology to support our students, by offering two Computer Labs,a Resource Room equipped with a Smart Board and an Elmo for all to share, tablets are used to aide in remediation, and desktops are available in every classroom for academic directives.  Many of our teachers use an Elmo as a daily teaching tool, along with the use of tablets to instruct and test students as a reliable and efficient way to collect data. A flexible open lab schedule is available to all teachers for testing, study assignments, and projects related to their curriculum.
Edgewood technology also includes the Safe Harbor After School program to utilize the computer labs as a resource of enrichment activities.

About me: 
 
Hello my name is Mrs. Foley.
I have been a proud employee with the Michigan City Area School System since 2003.
My background with MCAS was operation of several Grant funded programs for 7+ years.
My decision to make a change to the Technology Department, as the  Computer Lab Assistant at Edgewood, has given me new experiences and challenges, that are most welcome.
 
My dedication is strong, to help our students "Think, Dream, Believe, and Achieve".
I strive everyday to give our students proper care, guidance and structure, while learning, having fun, and experiencing technology first hand.
 
I have been a Mentor for the Hour for Ours program, which brings me such joy, to spend quality time with my Mentee every week. We have overcome many obstacles and accomplished many goals together.
 
I am also a mother of two girls, who are the light of my life, and I am dedicated to my High School sweetheart/husband for the last 24 years.
