Welcome to the 2012-2013 school year. Knapp School is one of nine elementary schools located in Michigan City, Indiana.
Knapp accommodates approximately 325 students in grades K-5. We offer a variety of support systems and services to support student needs including Special Education, ENL, Gifted Students, Response to Intervention, and Speech Therapy. We also have a fully staffed Safe Harbor program to provide before and after care to our students outside of the school day. In addition, we have afterschool programs to further support student learning.
The staff at Knapp is committed to providing a safe and caring learning environment to support all students. At Knapp we expect great things and it is our desire to see each student reach their full potential this year.
