CARE Math

• May 21 – 4^th grade follow up & August 14 – follow up 5^th & 6^th
• June 13 & 14 – Summer School Prep for Math Intensive, 6-8 (Summer School Teachers)
• June 17, 18, 19, 20 and 24,25,26,27 afternoon sessions for math summer school teachers & gr. 7-8 math teachers
• July 29 - August 9: 1^st priority – Teachers in 4-6 who have not yet participated in Care Summer Institute; 2^nd priority – 3^rd grade teachers; 3^rd priority – any 4-6 teacher who wants a review.

READING 

• Textbook Adoption presentations (March 6; Elston Auditorium; 3:15 – 4:30) Grades K-5
• Reading Street follow-up: Grades 3 & 5, Monday March 11 at Marsh, 3:20 – 4:20 - Voluntary
• SpringBoard
• 9-10 January 31^st – common assessments; plus one day in May for summary & planning for 2013-14;
• Grades 9-10 March 13^th – Common assessments
• March 18 & 19 – Vocabulary Work (conf room 1)-  18^th p.m. 8^th grade; 19^th a.m. 7^th – p.m. 6^th 
• 6-8 two-days to work on common assessments (could be summer); 1/2 day in May for summary review & planning for 2013-14
• Summer 3 days for new teachers TBA

• Read 180 New Teachers – August (one day) TBA
• Burst Training, March 21^st, 12:00 to 3:00, for two K-2 teachers from each elementary plus principal or coach
