Welcome to Pine School

My name is Tabitha Hughes.  I am the RN at Pine Elementary School Monday through Friday.  It is my job to make sure that your student's medical needs are taken care of while here at school.  It is also very important that we have accurate information regarding vaccinations, allergies, and any medical concerns related to your child. If you have any questions or concerns, regarding your student's medical needs, please feel free to call or email me.

News From The Nurse...
Don't Do the Flu!!!
Help keep germs away during the Halloween Season!
Trick-or-Treat is the perfect time to reinforce the importance of clean hands.  It's a season filled with lots of sweets.  Take a few moments to talk to your children about the ways they can scare germs away with good hygiene before trick or treating begins!

This year, celebrate Hallow-CLEAN!!  Remind your children, family, and co-workers to wash their hands with soap and water for 20 seconds.  When there's no soap or water, reach for a hand sanitzer or wipe.

When should you wash your hands?
  • When preparing food
  • Before snack and meals
  • After using the restroom
  • After touching animals
  • When hands are dirty
  • When you or someone around you is sick
