The Music Booster Organization has been meeting since schools started and are busy identifying and organizing activities through which we will support the efforts, events, and learning opportunities for our student musicians this year and into the next.
The booster organization is a wonderful way for you to support the music programs here in the Michigan City Area Schools. The Music Boosters provide help with concerts, equipment, guest musician artist clinics, travel experiences, snacks, uniforms, etc., and we respond to various requests for help throughout the year. In these tough budget times, your support of the music booster organization is more important than ever. We are a recognized 501C3 not-for-profit organization so any contributions or donations you make now and throughout the year are tax deductible for you. Please join the boosters and get as involved as you can!
We hope that you will join us and volunteer to support the fantastic music programs in our schools. By becoming a member, you will stay informed and be able to support your student in his or her pursuit of music. You will also have a chance to meet and work with teachers, staff and other parents of student musicians. There are many ways, some involving very small time commitments (like ushering a concert), that you can choose to help this year.
The Music Boosters sends out periodic e-mails that is your music information source for concerts, performances, volunteer needs and event announcements.
