It is with a great enthusiasm that the faculty, staff, and administration welcome you and your child to Joy Elementary for the 2012-2013 school year!  We believe that our students and staff are in store for a wonderful year of exciting opportunities and growth.  We are thrilled to have each one of you as a part of our JES family.

Academic achievement by all of our students is our number one priority.  We have made several significant changes in our approach to delivering instruction and how to prepare for instruction on a routine basis.  Everyone at Joy Elementary believes that all students can achieve.  We are committed to the ideal that all members of our school community learn and grow every day and that we are never finished learning.

We need your help.  You, as the parent, play a pivotal role in our partnership to educate your child.  We need you to insist that your child attend school every day, that they do their homework and study, and that they give their absolute best effort every day in every way.  We need for you to ask us questions and we involve you to volunteer in our school.  As a parent, you and your child are both on an educational journey.  Be an active participant along the way so that the journey is as wonderful as we all hope it will be for your child.
