Ask your child what he did in Art class this week.  Ask them if they talked about Shapes or Lines.  Ask them to name some of the shapes that they learned about.  Ask them to name some of the lines that they have learned about.  Next ask them to draw lines and shapes, then use the lines and shapes to create a picture.  

Encourage them to explain the steps that they used to complete the project.

Ask them questions that will lead them into a discussion on what the project was about.

As always, encourage great behavior in the Art room.  They work in a team, and try to keep a zero on our behavior chart.

Three zero's will earn them a small treat.
